Forecasting 2023-2024

Hello, all!

Now that we're in Season Three—September 2023 through August 2024—we really ought to do a quick survey to begin to understand interest on a household level and athlete level. Therefore, the following applies to class students who are considering life after class (graduation) and our club's existing membre-athlètes (MAs).

Note

As an MA of our club—Roller Louisiane—you can choose between training-and-testing-only (TMA) and competing (CMA). In short, all MAs are TMAs. Only CMAs compete. Only CMAs can do partner events (pairs, quartet, groups) and only CMAs can apprentice.

COMPETITIONS

The following is being used to get an idea of interest for those who are contemplating local meets and have their sites set on Regionals and Nationals, so they can plan financially for the year to come. Regionals is in Texas over Memorial Day weekend and medalists qualify for Nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska, which usually takes place over the last two weeks of July and may officially end in the first couple of days of August (depending on the calendar). You do not have to attend Nationals the entire time, most don't, but if you qualify, you're expected (required) to go and represent the region and our club. I will be happy to accompany anyone who needs to be there (if their parents cannot attend a part of nationals or any of it). We have to have an idea of what we want to do, so that's the goal of this poll:
